As mentioned in our journal entry “A Search in the Towns“, Cheltenham is known throughout the globe for being the heart of almost every aspect of Jump racing. This is the place where owners, trainers, jockeys, stable staff and breeders dream of having winners. It’s the place where the most important races are run. This is where many stars of the future go through the sale ring. But most of all, this is the place where the equine and human champions forge their reputations.
And today, the four day epic that is Cheltenham Race week has begun and is currently underway. However, due to COVID19, hundreds of thousands of race-goers haven’t all descended on the regency spa-town, instead will be watching from home, but tickets are available for next years event.
If next years Cheltenham Race Week does open up for visitors, then it’s safe to say it’ll be a celebration that any keen horse racing fan will not want to miss, and the Robinson David Estate Agentsteam will definitely be there.
But for now, extra efforts have been made by Cheltenham Racecourse for everyone to be able to watch Cheltenham Race Week live on TV, which is sure to be a different experience from the usual glamour and excitement of attending a day at Cheltenham racecourse, but there’s no reason why you can’t still enjoy yourselves and make an occasion of it at home.
