Most of us have a favourite season or favourite month of the year year, however, living in the west country can make this difficult decision to make, because whether it’s the lush green summer months, the red and golden autumn months, or the brown and frosty winter months, at Robinson David Estate Agents we love them all here, as nature here always offers something unique to experience each year.
Now that we are heading further into Spring, when living in the Southwest countryside you’ll find yourself surrounded by a grand display of new life at almost every turn, and as the evenings gradually become warmer, and the light begins to last longer, there is more opportunity to explore the seemingly endless walkways, like The Cotswold Way, or endless farmlands, canals, lakes and rivers, where you’ll easily discover the new Spring life.
For those with younger children, this can be a particularly exciting time as all of the wildlife is very busy, so there is lots to see as birds are waiting for the eggs to hatch, and all of the farmlands are filled with calfs and lambs. Nature here always offers something for everyone to marvel and enjoy. For many young families who move from the city, their children may not have ever had the opportunity to even spend time feed cygnets or ducklings before.
